The App is an educational, general-wellness tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, rehabilitation, or emergency services.
Ask a qualified healthcare professional before starting if you are pregnant, under 18, receiving medical or mental-health treatment, have recently had surgery, or have a history of fainting, seizures, panic triggered by breath focus, cardiovascular disease, high or low blood pressure, respiratory disease, or a neurological or eye condition.
Do not delay medical care or change medication, an asthma action plan, or any other treatment because of information in the App.
Practise seated or lying down in a safe, well-ventilated place. Never practise:
Keep every breath comfortable and smaller than your maximum. Never force the depth, speed, duration, or hold. Breath-hold methods are distinct methods: removing a hold does not turn a named ratio such as 4–7–8 into the same practice. If a hold is uncomfortable or conflicts with your safety profile, stop that method and choose a separate no-hold practice.
Rapid, forceful, prolonged, connected, reduced-volume, carbon-dioxide-tolerance, and long-hold methods can cause hyperventilation, air hunger, tingling, panic, dizziness, fainting, or injury. The App provides no self-guided timer for restricted methods. Those entries are limited to history, evidence limitations, risks, professional-guidance advice, and external references.
Stop immediately and return to normal breathing if you feel dizzy, faint, confused, numb, panicked, unusually short of breath, in pain, or otherwise unwell. Seek prompt medical advice if symptoms are new, worsening, or persistent.
Call local emergency services for severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, loss of consciousness, signs of stroke, or any situation that may be immediately dangerous. The App cannot detect or respond to an emergency.
Evidence varies by method and may be limited, preliminary, or apply only to supervised clinical populations. A cited article does not mean that the App or its exact timing has been clinically validated. No outcome is guaranteed. General-wellness exercises must not be used to manage a diagnosed condition without appropriate clinical guidance.
